Calling To and from Panama

07/26/09 17:47

You may want to make some reservations by phone before you arrive in Panama. Surely, you may want to call home while on your trip. Calling Panama from your home country is a simple procedure. A seven or eight digit number would be listed by most travel guides or websites. The eight digit numbers begin with a 6, which indicates that you are calling a cellular phone. The rates may be higher for a cell phone call. Panama's country code is 011 and the area code for the whole country is 507. To make a call you must first, dial the country code, dial the area code, then dial the seven or eight digit number.

Thanks for this information regarding calling from Panama, I mostly used mobile VoIP apps like Vopium for making cheap calls from Panama, and the good thing is its free Sync feature through which I can make my mobile data backup.
