Located on the Lake Gatun in the middle of the Panama canal, the Barro Colorado is one of the must see in Panama. Barro Colorado is an island formed when the Panama Canal was built. By the request of a group of scientists, a research laboratory was built in the island which became the first Tropical Rainforest Biological Reserve of the New World.
